What's new in Callmate

New features, improvements and fixes, as they ship. Most releases are on for every plan the day they land.

Releases

  1. Latest

    Outbound campaigns and evening confirmations

Run confirmation, recall and follow up campaigns from a list or CRM segment, paced to your team's capacity.

Callmate can now run outbound campaigns. Upload a list or pick a CRM segment, choose a goal such as confirming tomorrow's visits or booking overdue checkups, and Callmate works through the calls at the pace you set.

    Key Highlights:

    • Campaign goals: Confirm, reschedule, recall, follow up on estimates or reactivate past customers.
    • Pacing: Limit calls per hour and stop when your calendar is full.
    • Consent checks: Calling hours, opt outs and do not call lists checked before every dial.
    • Results: Every outcome written back to the contact, with a campaign report.

Campaigns are available on Business and Enterprise plans.

  2. Listen in and join live calls from the app

Follow any live call as a transcript, listen to the audio and take over with one tap.

Every live call now appears in the Callmate app with a live transcript. Tap a call to listen in, and tap Join to take over. Callmate stays on the line, quietly taking notes for the summary.

    Key Highlights:

    • Live transcript: Follow every active call, across every line.
    • Listen in: Hear the audio in real time, with recording consent handled automatically.
    • Join: Take over the call and Callmate hands off politely.
    • Notifications: Get a push when a call from a VIP customer starts.

Listen in and join are available on Growth plans and above.

  3. Assistants per location and the Callmate API

Run a separate assistant for every location or line, and build on calls with the new API, webhooks and MCP server.

You can now run several assistants on one account, each with its own number, script, voice and routing. Brand-wide knowledge lives in one place and every assistant uses it.

    Key Highlights:

    • Templates: Clone an assistant per location from a spreadsheet of local details.
    • Handoffs: Calls move between assistants without the caller noticing.
    • Callmate API: Start calls, read transcripts and manage assistants from your own systems.
    • Webhooks and MCP: Every call event as a signed webhook, and an MCP server for your own agents.

Assistants are included on every plan. The API is available from Growth.
