Challenge

Service advisors spent most of the day answering 'is my car ready' calls. Estimates and insurer calls waited, and customers complained they could never get through.

Solution

Callmate reads repair status, parts and promised dates from the shop management system and answers status calls directly. It books estimates by bay capacity, takes claim numbers and calls customers first when anything changes.

Story

Advisors back on the floor

Where is my car

Collision repairs take days or weeks, and customers call often. At Tessly, advisors answered more than 1,500 status calls a month, most of them while trying to write estimates or talk to adjusters.

Answers from the repair order

Callmate connects to Tessly's shop management system and answers status calls with the real stage of the repair, parts on order and the promised date. When a date slips, Callmate calls the customer first, so the second call never happens.

One number, five shops

Customers call one brand number. Callmate routes them to the right shop by their repair order or their location, in English or Spanish.

Advisors now spend their phone time on estimates and insurers, and the shops book more work each week.

“Seven out of ten calls were people asking if their car was ready. Callmate answers those from our shop system, and my advisors are back on the floor.”

Tessly Collision

Tessly Collision has run all five shops on one Callmate number since 2025.
