Set up live transfer and on-call

Live transfer connects a caller to a person on your team when a call needs one.

Create an on-call rota

Open People, then Rotas, and add the people who take transfers, in order. Set how long Callmate rings each person before trying the next. Rotas can change by day of the week and sync to everyone's calendar.

Choose how transfers work

• Warm: Callmate rings the person, plays a short summary and connects the caller when they accept.
• Ask first: Callmate texts the person a summary and waits for a yes.
• Cold: Callmate connects the caller straight away.

Listen in and join

In the Callmate app, open any live call to read the transcript, listen in and tap Join to take over. Callmate stays on the line to take notes.
